WA’s Premium Quality G-Lime
G-Lime is a very fine textured mix of calcium oxide (CaO), hydroxide (CaOH₂), and carbonate (CaCO₃), making it an ideal pH ameliorant for use on acid soils, as well as a calcium booster in all crops and pastures.

Those who have used Manna G-Lime insist “nothing else compares”. Here are some of the reasons why people choose Manna G-Lime:

  • CaOH₂ and CaO are soluble in water, whereas carbonates such as lime sand and crushed limestone are only slowly soluble. For this reason we perform WATER SOLUBILITY tests in our analyses. Our G-Lime therefore does not need incorporation into the acidic soil solution for its activation, but is rather an excellent source of available calcium, subject only to sufficient rainfall.
  • G-Lime is an affordable source of readily exchangeable calcium. Agronomists have described calcium as “the king of nutrients”.
  • G-Lime has an Effective Neutralising Value (ENV) around 110% and is generally applied at about half the recommended rate of lime sand or crushed limestone. This means reduced trucking spreading and incorporation cost.
  • G-Lime activates at first contact with moisture and is therefore ideal for most irrigated horticulture, broad acre farming, animal production systems, or anywhere where acidity is a problem.
  • G-Lime improves yield and quality of affected pasture, in the season of application, subject only to rainfall. Ruminants prefer “sweetened” pastures treated with an effective liming agent.  Treated pastures result in increased body weight of livestock.
  • G-Lime assists in the treatment of salt affected (sodic) soils by substituting available calcium for sodium. This is especially relevant in long term irrigated pastures, intensive cropping, horticulture, and land reclamation.
